Oakdale Electric Cooperative (OEC) is a member of Digger’s Hotline, a one-call answering service for Wisconsin utilities.
The party responsible for the digging is also responsible for notifying Digger’s Hotline. Please call 3 working days before beginning any digging or excavation work. Call 811 or
Digger’s Hotline will locate the underground utility facilities on or near your construction site. Please note that Digger’s Hotline only locates the facilities of its member utilities. For your information, Oakdale Electric’s facilities stop at the metering point. The homeowner is responsible for locating such underground facilities as septic, water, and private secondary wiring to outbuildings.
The advance call to Digger’s Hotline will allow the utility time to locate and flag underground facilities. You are required by Wisconsin Statute 182.0175 to allow 3 working days before you dig.
B&M Utility Locating has been contracted by OEC to perform cable locates. There are no charges to individual members for located OEC facilities.
